Registration & Cancellation Procedures
All classes have a minimum and maximum number of available student openings. It is recommended that agencies register as early as possible. Deadline for registration is a week before the scheduled course. Please be respectful of this deadline due to flights being booked for instructors.
Cancellations must be made prior to 14 days of scheduled event. NO REFUND will be granted if registrant cancels within 14 days of the scheduled event. However, participants can substitute other officers to attend if they are unable. No exceptions to this policy will be considered due to training logistics and instructor flight bookings. All classes have a minimum and maximum number of available student openings. It is recommended that agencies register as early as possible to secure their spot(s). Registration is first-come, first-serve. A waiting list will be established for the courses that reach the maximum capacity. If a cancellation occurs, it will be filled by the order on the waiting list.
The MERIT Center reserves the right to cancel, postpone and reschedule course offerings at any time with reasonable notice given to participants. If a course is cancelled refunds will be paid in full (with the exception of membership fees, no membership fees will be returned). The MERIT Center reserves the right to restrict class participants to law enforcement only at their sole discretion.
